1. Add your ConnectCore 8X to Remote Manager
Before you can monitor and manage your ConnectCore 8X device, you must add it to your Remote Manager account. To do so:

Log in to your Remote Manager account (https://remotemanager.digi.com).

Go to the Device Management tab and select Devices.

Click Add Devices. The Add Devices dialog appears.

Write the Ethernet MAC address of your ConnectCore 8X and click Add. Your device appears in the list of devices to add.
You can find the Ethernet MAC address on the front white label of the ConnectCore 8X. -
Click OK to register the device to your account and exit the Add Devices dialog. A new entry for your device appears in your device inventory.
2. Obtain a vendor ID
A vendor ID is a unique 32-bit code identifying the manufacturer of a device. You need to obtain a vendor ID in order to connect your ConnectCore 8X device to Remote Manager.
You can obtain a vendor ID for your Remote Manager account by following these steps:

Log in to your Remote Manager account if you haven’t already. Once logged in, select the Admin tab from the navigation menu.

Within the Vendor Information section of the page, click Register for new vendor id.

The button you just clicked will be replaced by your assigned vendor ID number (0xXXXXXXXX).
3. Connect your ConnectCore 8X to Remote Manager
Once the ConnectCore 8X is added to your account and you have a vendor ID, connect the device to Remote Manager:

Power on the ConnectCore 8X.

Open the Android Settings and go to System > Remote Manager.

Click Vendor ID and enter the value that appears on your Remote Manager account (note that you have to enter the prefix 0x as well).

Turn on the switch located in the top-right corner of the screen to connect the ConnectCore 8X to Remote Manager.
Enable the auto-connect option if you want your ConnectCore 8X automatically connects to Remote Manager next time it boots.
