These Smart Energy gateways do not have local command line access.  Minimal configuration, such as assigning a static IP and Digi Device Cloud server settings can be applied from the gateway web interface (accessible for 5 minutes by pressing the button on the gateway).  More in-depth gateway management and configuration can be accomplished using Device Manager.
