Digi International Announces New IoT and Enterprise Cellular Connectivity Bundles

Collaboration with UScellular provides a cost-effective solution that delivers improved service and cellular connectivity for businesses deploying industrial and IoT applications

HOPKINS, Minn., Feb. 28, 2023Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII), a leading global provider of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, connectivity products and services, today announced that it has teamed up with UScellular, the fourth-largest full-service wireless carrier in the United States. This collaboration will offer cellular connectivity bundles for businesses with enterprise and industrial IoT applications.

Affordable cellular connectivity is essential with the cost of establishing and maintaining reliable service representing a challenging barrier for many businesses. Organizations looking for an alternative to high-cost Internet providers can now combine the exceptional service of UScellular with the proven reliability and security of Digi’s advanced connectivity solutions.

The new bundles come pre-packaged with a Digi connectivity solution, such as the Digi IX10 industrial router or Digi EX15 enterprise router, as well as Digi Remote Manager® (Digi RM), for configuration, management and system-wide visibility of the device network. Combining this with a wireless data plan, starting as low as $3.50/month for 500 MB, is ideal for businesses with low-data applications.

“The need for reliable and cost-effective connectivity is greater than ever before,” said Jennifer Cline, Global Director of Channels for Digi International. “The combined Digi and UScellular solution delivers cost-effective business bundles with a customer experience that’s simple, secure and easily managed nationwide.”

These new nationwide cellular bundles are ideal for multiple use cases across enterprise and industrial IoT applications, including point-of-sale, digital signage, digital kiosk and ATMs.

“Having a reliable Internet connection is a must for business success,” said Kim Kerr, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Sales and Operations for UScellular. “This bundle solution offers a redundant option to keep important data-driven IoT services and applications connected and especially in the event of down time or disaster.”

Pricing information for the bundles and service are available by contacting Alex Martynov, (alex.martynov@digi.com) or the UScellular Business Indirect team (BizIndirectSupport@uscellular.com).
