Users that typically run into this issue are trying to connect to an AnywhereUSB/5 M or AnywhereUSB/14 through a router, in a Port Forwarding scenario. The symptom of the problem is that it's not possible to specify the Group number in the Connection List, so the Group number defaults to 0. This is a known issue with older versions of the AnywhereUSB driver package, which did not have a Group number field in the Connection List. Resolution: Update the AnywhereUSB driver package to version 3.51 or newer. https://www.digi.com/support/knowledge-base/how-do-i-uninstall-the-anywhereusb-drivers https://www.digi.com/support/knowledge-base/how-do-i-install-the-anywhereusb-driver-in-windows
