Setting permissions for remote users on the ConnectPort LTS

If there is no user name on the ConnectPort LTS, all users who passed authentication from the remote server gets ruser permissions.

If there is a user name on the ConnectPort LTS, all users who passed authentication from the remote server gets the permissions of that same user name.

The following set-up is required for this purpose:

1.    Create same users for Admin both on the ConnectPort LTS and RADIUS/LDAP server.  It is suggested that a different password is used on the ConnectPort LTS and RADIUS/LDAP server.

2.    Adjust permissions of Admin users on the ConnectPort LTS.

3.    Create users for Read-Only access on the RADIUS/LDAP server, not on the ConnectPort LTS

4.    Adjust permissions of ruser on the ConnectPort LTS.  If you want to control permissions of each read-only group user more precisely, create those users on the ConnectPort LTS, as well.
