How do I install the AnywhereUSB driver in Windows?

Notes:

  • You must have Administrator rights when installing the AnywhereUSB driver.

  • At this time, the current AnywhereUSB driver is v3.91.231, which is compatible with the following Windows Operating Systems:

Windows 7/8/8.1/10 32-bit/64-bit, Server 2008 R2 64-bit, Server 2012 32-bit/64-bit, and Server 2012 R2 64-bit. 
Other Windows Operating Systems require using an older AnywhereUSB driver version, available from the Digi support site.

  • The current release v3.91.231 AnywhereUSB driver is compatible with the following AnywhereUSB models:

AnywhereUSB/2, AnywhereUSB/5 G2, AnywhereUSB/5 M, AnywhereUSB TS44, AnywhereUSB/14

*The legacy/1st generation AnywhereUSB/5 is no longer supported.

Installation procedure:

1. Download the appropriate (32-bit or 64-bit) AnywhereUSB driver, depending on the host computer's Operating System:

Configuration Utility and driver

2. Right-click the downloaded file and select Run as Administrator.

3. "Next" through the installation wizard.


4. Once the AnywhereUSB driver installation has been completed, please refer to the AnywhereUSB Installation Guide for further configuration information.
