ERROR: could not load module /lib/modules/(kernel_version)/misc/dgrp.o: No such file or directory ERROR: couldn't load driver (err: 0)

The following errors are commonly seen in Linux when trying to start the RealPort daemon on a kernel version other than what the driver was compiled against.  

ERROR: could not load module /lib/modules/(kernel_version)/misc/dgrp.o: No such file or directory
ERROR: couldn't load driver (err: 0).

This is typically seen when a Linux update has been performed and the server has booted into the newly updated kernel by default.  

To resolve these errors, simply update the driver on the new kernel using the steps outlined in the following Knowledge Base article:
