Previous Firmware Versions Not Supported:

• The firmware in this product cannot be downgraded to an earlier version.
• If you''''re a customer who requires the ability to load firmware version N or earlier, please contact your Digi Sales Representative.

Feature Changes:

• Powered Ethernet and Powered serial are now available exclusively in the new PortServer TS P (Power Series) product family.
• If you are a customer who requires the use of these features, please contact your Digi Sales Representative for product information.

Definitions:

• Powered Ethernet:  The ability to power the Digi PortServer using the Ethernet cabling.

• Serial Power:  The ability to supply and receive power using the Digi PortServer serial ports.

One of more of these features may have previously shipped with a Digi Device Server prior to 2005. As mentioned above, these features are now provided exclusively in the new Powered Series product. To help identify what versions of Digi Device Servers have which features, refer to following chart:
