AnywhereUSB Plus Linux and Mobile Support

Preface: The AnywhereUSB Plus client software is known as the AnywhereUSB Manager.

AnywhereUSB Plus products do not have a mobile version of the client (iOS or Android).

 

AnywhereUSB Plus products do support Linux as detailed within the Linux version of the Managers Release notes (Select Linux then “release notes”):

Notably at the time of this articles publication are these Linux requirements:

The Kernel must be >=4.13.x

 

Only the eight and two port AnywhereUSB Plus models are officially supported for reasons detailed here:

Not officially headless or Wayland supporting, requiring use of X.org on a display possessing machine. There is workaround for this detailed at the article here which makes use of X virtual framebuffer (Xvfb):
