ConcertCam

By Brad Grzesiak

The ConcertCam was designed to add a little extra fun, and a picture or two, to a concert-goer’s experience. By pressing a giant green button placed in the middle of the crowd, a picture is taken and uploaded to the ConcertCam’s Facebook Page. The first implementation of the project included a Rasberry Pi and Teensy for wireless capability, but due to RF interference at the concert, the system’s connection was too inconsistent. The addition of an XBee made for a stronger wireless connection. And the result? It turns out few can resist the temptation of pressing a giant green button!

If you want to try your hand at building your own wireless camera, Brad Grzesiak has done a great write up on their site. Check it out here.
