Items with an Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) ending with a lowercase “b2” are restricted from export per the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, Bureau of Industry & Security (BIS) under former §740.17(b)(2) of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The “b2” indication is not part of the ECCN, but has been added to that search field to identify restricted products.
