UDP Socket: Client Configuration Recommendations for Baud Rates Below 9600 Using PortServer TS Products

When using lower baud rates for serial to UDP along with a delimiter setting, it is recommended the rtime setting is activated and increased to accommodate the lower baud rates and fast serial polling rates on the PortServer TS product lines.

At 300 baud using a Carriage Return packet delimiter, a time setting of 600ms is recommended to ensure reliability.

These settings may be found under the particular Port Profile Settings:
Enable "Send data when the following string is found" and then select "CR (carriage return)".
Enable "Send data after the following number of idle milliseconds" and then set for 600 ms.
