Non Routing module

0 votes
I have a application where I have several XBee pro's (XBP9B-DMST-002) in close proximity are transmitting a small burst of data every 2 minutes. At the other end I have the same module receiving the data. The transmitters are on battery so they go to sleep for part of the time between transmits and I don't want them to repeat. If I turn CE=2 on all modules that should make them non routers I believe and save some battery. If I place a same module half way in between and keep CE =0 will that module still act as a repeater or do I have to have CE = 0 on all modules.

Thanks

No setting CE to 0 will allow it to rout the data via the module if it is needed.
