Python module missing

0 votes
I am willing to use the smtpd module within a python script but when I do "import smtpd" I get the following error:

>>> import smtpd
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
File "../../lib\smtpd.py", line 79, in <module>
File "../../lib\asyncore.py", line 577, in <module>
ImportError: No module named fcntl

apparently the fcntl is module that can only be used in linux os. Can anybody help with this? The smtpd module is by default the python directory of the TransPort unit.

Thanks in advance.

at present there is no plans to implement the module. If it is necessary you can raise SPR for it
