API mode for DigiMesh

0 votes
Hello,
I would like to learn the API mode in order to use the DigiMesh protocol. I am not able to find any tutorials for beginners. I have found one book though "Building Wireless Sensor Networks" but it details the API mode for the Zigbee protocol not the Digimesh.
I have following questions:
1: Are there any getting started tutorials available for DgiMesh using the API mode. Please provide any links?
2: Do the Zigbee and DigiMesh protocols have the similar structure for the API mode? If I learn Zigbee API mode from the "Building Wireless Sensor Networks" then I can work with API mode of DigiMesh as well?
I would appreciate your reply.
Best Regards

When it comes to the API interface, Digi mesh and ZigBee are very similar. In fact, they are so close that you should be able to use the Building Wireless Sensors network book along with the product manual for the XBee Digi Mesh modules you are using and figure it out.
