How to do line passing (reading) on a PortServer TS

0 votes
Aloha...

We are using a PortServer TS (4 port). We are not using RealPort, but rather talking directly to the ports via Ethernet (and setup directly by port 23).

We need to be able to sense the various states of the serial line. We have a serial device that sends no character data, but rather shows state by changing the various lines (DTR, etc).

Is it possible to read the Port serial line status (I'm looking for something like a Command I can issue via the Telnet port, that shows me the status of a ports serial line).

Mahalo!

The "display ports" will show you the active serial line signals. To see a specific port: display port range=(port#)
