Is it possible to "call" my local network and get internet access?

I have a embedded computer which soley have a modem connection to the internet. There is no other way to connect it. I have already a DigiOne SP, which I thought would solve my problem. But it is just a half solution, something is missing. Do you have some kind of modem emulator which will connect to the Digi One SP? What I want to do is to "call" my local network and get internet access by cable through it. Is that possible?

You might be able to accomplish this using PPP to the embedded computer.
