Serial Interface Specification VS Dashboard

0 votes

I was sniffing the commands that were send and received by Digi Satellite Dashboard (v1.1.0.0) application, I noticed that after it(Dashboard) has send the parameters and configuration it kept on sending this command:

85 40 08 00 00 02 B1 80

with the following response:

05 41 27 00 00 02 FF FF 22 97 FF 41 FD 00 1D 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 FD 81

The above Packets are not listed in Packet Descriptions & Packet Description Notes of ORBCOMM Serial Interface Specification Revision G (E80050015)

Can somebody advice me where or how to get the latest ORBCOMM Serial Interface Specification that has got all Packet Information?

Its a Status packet for Digi JSK ONLY>. its not an ORBCOMM packet..
They are not disclosing it to customers.. we simpy can discard it :)

I think it's the packet that updates the satellite signal information for the Digi Dashboard. Unfortunate that they don't document that packet, as it would be pretty useful.
