use of second com port

0 votes
Hi,

I'm trying to develop a solution with a Digi Connect ME and i need to use the two serial ports in the device.

My problem is, i can read and write without trouble in the serial 1 (8 wires) but in the serial 2 (2 wires) I just can write.

Is needed some especial configuration in this port for use it?

I have declared the BSP_SERIAL_PORT_2 constant to BSP_SERIAL_UART_DRIVER and now the port is usable, but just for write.

You do know that the second com port is only available on the modules with the JTAG connector, correct?

The production units only have one serial port.

Sorry, my mistake, the module I'm using is an EM not ME (I'm posting now in the right forum).
